Hi Friends! How are you doing? I started off my day with a wonderful 2.5 km (1.2 mi). I got up early and took advantage of the weather and took off. Oh it was good. If you get the chance to walk, do it. I know it's hard in the North because it is extremely cold, but maybe find a mall or a shopping center where you could go walk.  It feels good and it was a great quiet time spent in prayer. Christmas, Navidad , is around the corner. I love this season and I have enjoyed it so much (well, except for some ornaments disappearing....) but you get the idea. I decorated our tree with some super cute ornaments I found at Target in colors blue, purple, red, and green. Each color comes in solid and glittered. I love them. The kids do too. It's funny, because since I've had to make sure I keep all my ornaments at the top part of the tree it's got me thinking that there is 'plenty of room' for more ornaments, hahaha. Our favorite Christmas song is 'Silver Bell...

I made this handy checklist / assessment sheet a while ago when I first starting teaching the letters to my daughter. I've made a couple of changes and made a second version to use with my son now. It's color coded in purple and blue so they know who's checklist it is.  Hope you find it useful as well.  Purple version Blue version   ~ Happy Teaching!  Fabi

Hi! I'm working on a new set of clothes divider to organize a new new baby's closet, but I want to share an oldie with you.  I actually used this set last year for my baby boy (who is now 13 months and taking steps!) and it helped me out a ton! I especially loved it because I included a tag for winter gear.  I printed my labels on cardstock, laminated the sheet, and then cut it up. The slits fit perfectly in my closet.  You could print this at home or at any office store.  The file is a free download through Scribd. Just click on the picture and it will take you straight there.  Baby Clothes Organizer / Baby Clothes Divider  Happy Organizing! ~ Fabi

I have two children and both of them are growing up bilingually. I speak to them in Spanish all day, while my husband speaks to them in English and Spanish. We have been checking the weather on a daily basis to know when's the best time to go outside to play with water or to take a family walk.  We also check the weather to see the temperature in other states where other family members currently live.  Here's a copy of the seasons of the year printable that I made. It's available in a pdf file for you to use at home with your children or in your classroom.  The images that I used to make the Seasons of the Year - Bilingual English Spanish poster come from this website  Seasons of the Year - Bilingual English / Spanish Free Printable Click here to download the .pdf file. ~Fabi

Eight months into my third pregnancy has me organizing the entire apartment! I've worked in the kitchen, the kids' bedrooms, AND the laundry room.  The laundry room really needed some extra care and organization.  So one morning, after breakfast,  I took a deep breath, and I began the process of sorting and tossing. Then I went to the store and found some cute green and yellow baskets to bring some color into the most boring room process of organizing.  I also made these labels to help us know the exact content of each basket. These labels are available on Etsy  so that you can get your own copy and use it in your room. Hope you find it as helpful as my husband and I have!   Go to my Laundry Room Labels Printable file to get your copy. It's a pdf file. You can print it at home on heavy cardstock, or at an office store and have them laminated for you. I laminated mine and let me tell you, I love them!!  This is the laminator I use:...

We are about one month away from one of the best times of the year, Thanksgiving !!!! I love all the food (of course!!!), the family gatherings, and all the picture taking, ha!  So I got to thinking and planning for the occasion, and created a chart of ideas to help me plan the meals for it. I created a pdf file called Thanksgiving Menu Ideas - and I am sharing it with each one of you through Google Docs! Just click here  to find it.  This handy table is helping me decide what I want to make for the Main Dish, Side Dishes, Salads, Desserts, and Drinks.  Do you have a traditional Thanksgiving recipe that you'd like to share with us? Send me an e-mail with the recipe and picture and I'd love to share it in the blog.  thechambs@gmail.com
