My birthday

Recently I got to celebrate a very special birthday with my family and friends. Can you guess how old I’m now?


I’m totally giving it away and I am quite alright with that.  This is a birthday I had been looking forward to for quite some time probably because of the movie '13 Going on 30' with Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. I want to be  "thirty, flirty, and thriving". 

 I am so excited about this year and everything the Lord has in store for me because I trust His promise: "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future". (Jeremiah 29:11)


Here’s a picture of my delicious cake: Chocolate Caramel Crunch sprinkled with sea salt. Oh, Wow!. It was SO good: chocolately, sweet, and salty... Perfect combination for this gal!

 One of my favorite gifts I received from my Hubster is my brand new spiralizer. Do you have one?  It’s a handy machine you can use to turn vegetables such as zucchini, beets, carrots, broccoli into noodles. It only takes a few minutes to spiralize your veggies and enjoy a fresh meal!

I also received a HoMedics Foot Spa from my parents. It works so great and is perfect to use after a long day standing and walking around. My feet feel so much better! Gracias papis!!!

A friend gifted me a gift card to one of my favorite places, Starbucks!!!! Oh yeah! Hello Chai-Latte and Cake Pops!  We enjoy taking walks together to Starbucks and enjoy a treat. Last time we went there, we also took some children's books to read there. The kids thought it was great to take our reading time outside of home to the coffee shop.

Bilingual Seasons of the Year Printable

I have two children and both of them are growing up bilingually. I speak to them in Spanish all day, while my husband speaks to them in English and Spanish. We have been checking the weather on a daily basis to know when's the best time to go outside to play with water or to take a family walk.  We also check the weather to see the temperature in other states where other family members currently live.  Here's a copy of the seasons of the year printable that I made.
