Ocean Theme Birthday Party

I did an Ocean theme for my Little Guy's First Birthday party, as his birthday is the only one that falls in the middle of summer. I was really excited with the opportunity to do a 'summery' party.  Anyways, I chose the Ocean and it was a very easy theme to put together.  First of all, I looked for a set of digital papers to make the banner. Then we blew up balloons to recreate the sky and the sun. :-)  For the backdrop, I used a plastic table cover from Dollar Tree. It's a Girl {Baby Shower Banner}

I made a baby shower banner for a friend using my Cricut. The banner says 'It's a Girl' in pinks, reds, and greens. I was really excited about making it and couldn't wait to get started on it. I used 'Nana's Girl Nursery' Paper, Storybook Cartridge for the font, and Cricut Sampler Cartridge to cut the different shapes. Plus lots of glue dots, scrapbooking tape, and ribbon.   Here are a couple of pictures: A little stork delivering a baby girl (who has a pink bow with polka dots!) A baby with a rattle = sweetness overload It was a really fun celebration and I was so honored to help celebrate her new baby.  ~Happy Crafting~
